Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
This “Win Your Share of R116K in Prizes with Pattex” promotional competition (“Competition”) is organized and conducted by Henkel South Africa (Pty) Limited and Paton Tupper Paton Tupper Associates (Pty) Ltd and Hello Yes Marketing (Pty) Ltd (“the Promotors”), in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008. (“CPA”)

2. Competition Period
The Competition commences on 1 June 2026 and ends on 15 July 2026 at midnight. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Eligibility The Competition is open to:
3.1. Legal residents of the Republic of South Africa;
3.2. Persons aged 18 years or older at the date of entry.

4. Excluded Persons 
The following persons may NOT participate in the Competition: 

4.1. Directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of the Promotors;
4.2. Any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition;
4.3. The spouse, life partner, parent, child, sibling, or business partner of the above persons;
4.4. Any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promotors;
4.5. Any person who the Promotors reasonably believe has been involved in any fraudulent or improper conduct relating to the Competition. 

5. Prize(s)
5.1. The prize(s) consist of one of sixteen braai stands worth R6 000 each or 1 of 20 braai packs worth R1 000 each, totaling R 116 000.
5.2. Prizes are not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. 
5.3. All prizes will only be distributed after the end of the Competition Period.
5.4. Prizes will be delivered to an address in South Africa. 
5.5. The Promotors reserves the right to withdraw or substitute for the prize with another prize of greater or equal value.

6. How to Enter
6.1. To enter, participants must, during the Competition Period, purchase any Pattex product from a participating retailer, retain their till slip as proof of purchase, follow at least one official “TheGlueCrewZA” social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram or TikTok), or Pattex South Africa Facebook Page, and send a clear photo of the till slip via direct message to “TheGlueCrewZA” account.
6.2. Participants may submit an unlimited number of entries, but A MAXIMUM of 1 prize may be claimed per person. 

7. Winner Selection and Notification
7.1. Winners will be selected via weekly random draws, performed by Hello Yes Marketing (Pty) Ltd.
7.2. Winners will be notified via social media and telephone and will be announced on a weekly basis via TheGlueCrewZA social media platform.
7.3. If a winner cannot be contacted by telephone within two days, after two attempts, or does not respond to the social media message within one week, an alternate winner may be selected.
7.4. Please note that although winners are announced weekly, prize fulfilment will only take place after the Competition has closed.

8. Fairness and Transparency
8.1. The Competition will be conducted in a manner that is fair, transparent, and free from undue influence, as required by the CPA.
8.2. A record of the Competition, including winner details, will be retained as required by law. 

9. Publicity and Consent Winners’ details (names and surnames) will be posted on the Pattex South Africa Facebook page as well as TheGlueCrewZA official pages on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, unless they explicitly decline in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability The Promotors are not responsible for: 
10.1. Incomplete or delayed entries; 
10.2. Technical failures affecting participation; 
10.3 Any loss or damage arising from participation or use of the prize to the extent permitted by law. 

11. Right to Amend or Cancel The Promotors reserves the right to:
11.1. Amend these Terms and Conditions;
11.2. Suspend or terminate the Competition if required by law or due to circumstances beyond its control. 

Any changes will be communicated via the Promotors’ social media pages. 

12. Dispute Resolution 
Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of South Africa and, where applicable, may be referred to the National Consumer Commission or other relevant authority. 

13. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in this Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights participants may have under the Consumer Protection Act.
